As has been the common occurrence in the current world events, the topic of sustainability has been catching up even in the fashion industry.

​

Among of them, “upcycled” products have become very popular in the city. The popularity in the city has given the designers the ideas in terms of finding out whether it is possible for them to give the produce the clothes that will have huge popularity, but will at the same time be sustainable. However, how many products in it is fully able for the betterment of the environment.

If it becomes possible for consumers to have the products for looking stylish while being environmentally friendly, it would give the consumers a way to show off with their clothes. Therefore, sustainability is encouraged with the artisanship appreciation. The designers are able to create the types of products that encourage sustainability and this is likely to give the boost to the environmentalism.

Due to the fact that there is so much of the textile available, and it is getting more and more valuable all the time, the “upcycling” process could theoretically go on ad infinitum. Given the fact that the styles of the clothes change so often, i am always asking myself, whether the design is innovative enough or not.
